R. Kelly’s Black Panties in a Twist?


Black Panties is the twelfth studio album by R&B artist R Kelly released through RCA Records. It was originally scheduled to be out on November 11th, 2013, but finally hit stores December 10th, just in time for the holidays. The album contains guest vocals from Ludacris, Kelly Rowland, 2 Chainz, Young Jeezy, Future, Migos, and Juicy J.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, R. Kelly spoke about how he wanted this album to be an expansion of his classic 1993 debut album, 12 Play, which put Kelly on the map.

According to the self-proclaimed “Pied Pieper of R&B” himself:

Everywhere I go it’s ‘when are you going to come back with another 12 Play, when are you going to come back with the sexual R. Kelly’ — so, this is it.
